The 250μm fibers are positioned in the loose tube made of high-modulus plastic. Those tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. Surrounding the tubes is a layer of glass yarn or aramid yarn as a strength member. Finally, it is sheathed in LSZH or PE as an outer jacket.
