The fibers, 250μm, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high-modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. Then it’s covered with a layer of glass yarns or aramid yarns as a strength member. Finally, the cable is completed with LSZH or PE sheath.
