The loose tube is made of high-modulus plastic filled with a waterproof compound, and placed in the center of the cable. Inside is the single-mode optical fiber. Finally, the loose tube is wrapped with water-resistant glass yarn and protected with LSZH(low smoke halogen-free) sheath.
